Crockpot BBQ Chicken



  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup of zesty Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cup of light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. of fine sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. of ground black pepper
  • Potato hamburger buns
  • Smart Balance butter
  • Garlic salt


  • Place chicken breasts in crockpot. In a medium sized bowl combine 1 cup of BBQ sauce, zesty Italian dressing, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper and mix everything up. Pour it over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours. During the last 30 minutes shred your chicken and put it back in the crockpot and add an additional 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce and mix it with the remaining sauce.
  • Put butter and garlic salt on your potato buns and toast them in the oven at 350 degrees for 5-8 minutes {Check at the 5 minute mark.}
  • You can serve this over Frito chips as well if you don’t want them on a bun. If you choose to do that then I’d definitely top it with baked beans.
