Snickerdoodle Cookies



-2 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour

-2 tsp. of baking powder

-1/2 tsp. of salt

-1 tsp. of cinnamon

-1 cup of unsalted butter (room temperature)

-1 1/4 cups of granulated sugar

-1/4 cup of dark brown sugar

-2 eggs (room temperature)

-1/2 tsp. of pure vanilla extract

**Cinnamon Sugar Mix**

-3 tbsp. of granulated sugar

-2 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon


-Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.

-In another bowl mix together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar with a hand mixer. Add the vanilla extract and eggs.

-Gradually add the bowl of dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mix until everything is incorporated.

-Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and put it in your freezer for 15 minutes. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil or a cooking mat. In a small bowl make your cinnamon sugar mixture.

-Use a cookie dough scoop or make 1 1/2 in. balls of dough by hand then roll them in the cinnamon sugar mix. Place cookies on pan and cook for 8 minutes. Let cool for 15-20 minutes before eating.
