Blackened Salmon



-2 skinless salmon fillets

-2 tbsp. of paprika

-1 tbsp. of cayenne pepper

-1 tbsp. of onion powder

-2 tsp. of fine sea salt

-1/2 tsp. of ground white pepper

-1/2 tsp. of ground black pepper

-1/2 tsp. of cumin

-1/2 tsp. of garlic powder

-1/4 tsp. of dried basil

-1/4 tsp. of dried oregano

-1/2 cup of butter, unsalted and melted


-Melt your butter and set it aside.

-Mix all of your spices together in a bowl.

-Brush each side of the salmon fillets with the melted butter. Sprinkle the spice mixture on each side.

-Pour the remaining melted butter into a pan and cook the fillets over medium heat for 5-8 minutes on each side.
