Dairy Free Chocolate Icing


Realistically you could make this into normal chocolate icing by using regular ingredients vs dairy free. It’s pretty versatile. It does make a lot of icing though so if you aren’t icing 24+ cupcakes I would cut the recipe in half.


-4 1/2 cups of powdered sugar

-1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

-1 cup of dairy free butter (I love Smart Balance)

-1/2 cup of dairy free milk (you can add more if your icing is too thick)

-2 tsp. of vanilla extract


-Put everything into your mixer and mix until smooth.
