Cajun Kielbasa Pasta



  • 1-2 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb. of smoked sausage
  • 1 tsp. of minced garlic
  • 2 cups of low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 1/2 cups of rotini pasta
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 tsp. of fine sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. of ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. of Cajun seasoning {I love Creole}
  • 1 tbsp. of milk plus 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese


  • In a non-stick pan over low-medium heat add 1-2 tbsp. of olive oil and cook sausage until no longer pink.
  • Add all of your other ingredients {except for the cheese} to your pan and cook over low-medium heat until the noodles are cooked through.
  • Once your noodles are cooked add 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and mix until combined. Top with remaining cheese.
