Carne Asada Fries

{Ingredients For Fries}

  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. of avocado oil
  • 1 tsp. of fine sea salt
  • 1 tsp. of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. of paprika

{Ingredients For Carne Asada}

  • 1 tsp. of fine sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. of ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. of chili powder
  • 1 tsp. of minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • juice from one small lime
  • 1 1/2 lb. of thin sliced steak
  • 1 tbsp. of avocado oil
  • 1/2 cup of shredded Colby Jack cheese

{Directions}

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Cut your potatoes into wedges. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, avocado oil, salt, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until your potatoes are fully covered.
  • Place your fries on the baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes.
  • Add sea salt, ground black pepper, chili powder, minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, and steak to a large bowl. Mix until everything is combined. Let steak marinate while your fries are cooking.
  • Heat avocado oil in your pan over medium heat. Cook steak for 2-3 minutes on each side. Slice steak into bite sized pieces.
  • Turn your broiler on. Add steak and cheese on top of your fries. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
